Van Gogh and the Colors of the Night at MoMA

The Museum of Modern Art in New York City will host an exhibition titled “Van Gogh and the Colors of the Night” which will feature around 30-40 major and minor works by Vincent van Gogh including paintings, drawings, and letters.

The exhibition will take place between September 21 2008 and January 5 2009. It includes its famous The Starry Night, Saint Remy, 1889, which the museum owns as well as a number of borrowed major works such as The Night Café (1888) from The Yale University Art Gallery in New Haven, Connecticut. and Starry Night Over the Rhône, (1888) from the Musée d’Orsay, Paris, France.
